Employee Handbook

We are committed to conducting its operations in accordance with the relevant statutory provisions. In our Employees Handbook, we will take all reasonably practicable steps to minimize risk to our employees and anyone else who could be affected by our activities.

Policies and Procedures

The responsibility for executing this Policy lies with our management and supervisory staff. They are tasked with ensuring that health and safety considerations are always prioritized in the planning and daily supervision of work.

We expect all our employees and sub-contractors to work in partnership with Astral Roofing and Building Ltd to uphold this Policy. They should ensure, as far as is reasonably practicable, that their own activities are performed without posing a risk to themselves or others.

To ensure the effectiveness of this Policy, its operation will be monitored by the company’s management. To aid them in this, we have appointed Safety Management Services to visit sites, offer advice on remedial actions, and ensure we comply with legislative requirements.

Health and Safety Policy Statement

Distributed to all employees and other contractors when they are contracted in the company. It will also be displayed at necessary locations on-site and in other workspaces. Our health & safety policy is in place to maintain the occupational health, safety, and welfare of our employees, visitors, contractors, and the public. To achieve this, we will:

• Ensure operational controls are in place and equipment is kept in good working condition.
• Maintain a safe workplace without risks, including safe access and egress to our place of work.
• Provide our employees with information, instructions, training, and supervision.
• Regularly review and improve our management, health, and safety systems, arrangements, and information.

We also have several other policies and procedures in place, such as an environmental policy, equal opportunities policy, training plans, and management systems to ensure our company complies with the appropriate legislation and guidelines.
